securing your future home

Placing an initial reservation payment (taken off total property price) to secure your home

exchange of contracts

our solicitors will work closely with us to complete the exchange of contracts. at this stage, your new home will be legally bound to you. upon exchange of contracts a 10% deposit (minus reservation fee) must be paid to complete the reservation process.

reservation checklist

you will be invited into the office for a personal meeting, this will cover completion dates, personal house viewings and potential customisation options for your home.

legal compleetion

at this point all legal documents and payments have been made. we will then arrange a date to record meter readings, pass on the handover pack and complete any outstanding paperwork.

build progression

through your journey you will be invited to site via appointment only at key build stages to view the progress. this will be accompanied by a member of our team and by follwing all instructions and to wear the safety equipment provided.

handover day & demonstration

on near completion, our director will take a thorough tour of the property to ensure the quality is up to the expectation of a kemp & townsend home. once it is then at physical completion, handover of the property can then begin.

upon legal and physical completion of the property, our sales executives will arrange an appointment with you for your house demonstration as well as key handover.

This will involve:

  • handover of a demonstration pack - this will provide insight into how all your appliances and electrical components will work and how to operate them.

  • signing of documents which will hand over responsibility of the property to yourselves.

  • a tour around the property to provide a handover day snagging list if any issues remain.

  • handover the keys to your new home.

Once this stage has been completed, we can arrange a visit a week on and begin the aftercare stage of your customer journey.

aftercare at Kemp & Townsend Ltd

at kemp & townsend ltd, our service does not end once you have the keys. with the purchase of your property, your home will recieve a 2 year k&t warranty and a 10 -year structural warranty. our priority at kemp & townsend is the standard of your aftercare, which will be provided through the k&t hub. this provides everything you need for life in your new home.
